| Use
of DFDRs/FDRs not according to the parameters accuracy limits (or having
tolerance beyond those recommended) in ICAO Annex-6 Part-I attachment/
table D-1 should not be permitted on public transport aircraft by the
contracting states. This can be ensured by the regulatory agency of the
country of manufacture at the time of issue of type certificate in
respect of a DFDR/FDR and by ICAO taking steps to emphasise the need of
implementation of its recommendation by the contracting states.
